Job Description/Responsibilities

We’re looking for an experienced Training Manager to lead learning and development initiatives within our manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing structured training programs that support employee development, operational performance, and regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of continuous learning across the organization.

Key highlights of the role:

  • Develop and implement training programs that support operational performance and employee development.
  • Design and maintain structured training matrices and development plans for frontline manufacturing teams.
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and track training completion and effectiveness metrics.
  • Facilitate onboarding programs, skills development, and leadership training for production employees.
  • Evaluate training outcomes using feedback, metrics, and operational performance indicators.
  • Partner with operations leadership to identify skill gaps and align training initiatives with business goals.

Qualifications/Requirements

Requirements (Must-Have)

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s is preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in training, learning and development, or workforce development.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training delivery methods.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage employees at all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of comfort with technology and learning systems
  • Ability to travel up to 25% (corporate functions and training)

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience with Education grants and how to obtain them
  • Experience with Alchemy LMS or similar learning management systems.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Certification in training, facilitation, or instructional design.
  • Experience with project management or workforce development initiatives.
