Position Summary:

This management position provides leadership, supervision, and oversight of the OhioRISE Care Coordination training program. The position is responsible for the supervision of new Care Coordinator hires as assigned and follows all policies/procedures set forth by the program, agency, Mental Health Boards, and State of Ohio. This position provides services to clients as needed.

Key Responsibilities & Role Highlights:

  • Participate in the hiring process for Care Coordinators, including reviewing applications, interviewing candidates, and making hiring recommendations.

  • Lead and manage onboarding and professional development for new Care Coordinators, ensuring completion of required state and agency certifications and trainings.

  • Ensure all training aligns with High Fidelity Wraparound principles, Trauma-Informed Care standards, and OhioRISE contract requirements.

  • Monitor and validate each Care Coordinator’s readiness to independently manage a caseload.

  • Provide ongoing coaching, consultation, and individualized training support as needed.

  • Report training progress and milestones to leadership and recommend program improvements.

  • Provide care coordination services as needed.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Behavioral Health or related field preferred (applicants currently enrolled in a degree program will be considered).

  • Minimum three (3) years of clinical experience required, behavioral health experience preferred. Prior supervisory and care coordination experience strongly preferred.

  • Experience working with children and families experiencing serious emotional disturbance (SED), trauma, or co-occurring disorders.

  • Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles, family systems, and community resources.

  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to mentor and motivate staff.

  • Proficiency with electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office.

  • Completion of required certifications (High-Fidelity Wraparound, CANS, CPR, CPI) within required timeframes.

  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule (3–4 days in office) with flexibility for evenings and weekends as needed.
