The Opportunity
The Vice President of Human Resources is a critical member of the senior leadership team, responsible for driving HR strategy and execution across the organization. This role leads all facets of the HR function, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, total rewards, compliance, and DEI initiatives.
This leader will play a pivotal role in shaping a culture of excellence, belonging, and growth-ensuring Holiday remains a top employer of choice in our region.
Key Responsibilities
· Set and execute a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with business goals and company values.
· Lead workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention strategies to support organizational growth.
· Develop and oversee competitive total rewards, performance management, and employee development programs.
· Champion a strong organizational culture by promoting engagement, accountability, and inclusion.
· Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on HR matters, including succession planning and organizational design.
· Monitor HR metrics and KPIs to assess program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
· Ensure legal compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies while mitigating organizational risk.
· Leverage HR technologies (HRIS, ATS, LMS) to improve data-driven decision-making and HR service delivery.
· Lead and mentor a high-performing HR team; foster collaboration and continuous professional growth.
· Represent Holiday at industry events and maintain strong external HR networks.
· Stay current with emerging HR trends, practices, and legislation.
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field preferred or,
· 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in an executive or senior leadership role.
· SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification strongly preferred.
· Proven track record of aligning HR initiatives with strategic business priorities.
· Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
· Strong analytical skills and experience using HR data to inform strategic decisions.
· In-depth knowledge of employment law, talent management, and organizational development.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems, and LMS tools.
