Summary
Buckle is a specialty fashion retailer with approximately 8,000 Teammates located in over 440 stores in 42 states as well as the Corporate Office located in Kearney, Nebraska. Our mission to create the most enjoyable shopping experience possible for our guests begins with our people. To facilitate this mission, the Vice President of Human Resources (“HR”) will work with the executive leadership team to develop innovative and creative strategies and solutions for building, developing, and retaining exceptional teams. The Vice President of HR also provides executive level leadership and guidance to Buckle’s HR operations and is responsible for establishing, enforcing, and executing human resources policies, procedures, and best practices that support Buckle’s business goals.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises Teammates in the HR department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Buckle’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training Teammates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining Teammates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
