About the Role:
The VP II, Global Head of People Operations and Analytics, is responsible for leading and managing the HR People Services function, the HR Technology team, Payroll and HR Analytics. They will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company's global people strategy. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence across the employee lifecycle, ensuring a seamless, data-driven, and employee-centric experience. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of HR operations expertise, systems thinking, and leadership to scale our people practices in alignment with HR and business goals. This role is part of the HR Senior Leadership team.
This role is a Hybrid position based out of Warren, NJ.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage matrixed teams within People Services, HR Technology, Analytics, Payroll, Compliance and Project Management. Ensure clear alignment between daily work and HR/Company goals and strategies while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and service excellence.
People Services
Lead the design and execution of scalable, efficient, and compliant operations processes across onboarding, offboarding, and employee transactions within People Services, our shared services function.
Partner with the HR SLT to align people operations strategy with organizational priorities and growth plans, championing a consistent and high-quality employee experience across all people processes.
HR Technology
Own the strategy, implementation, and optimization of all HR systems, with an emphasis on our HCM, Workday, ensuring data integrity, automation, and user experience.
Collaborate with IT leadership to align HR technology projects with company strategy and initiatives.
Partner with IT to implement, integrate, and optimize HR systems (e.g., Workday) including managing global rollouts, system upgrades, and change management initiatives to support a seamless employee experience.
Drive digital transformation initiatives and the utilization of AI to modernize and streamline HR operations.
HR Analytics
Lead the development of people analytics and dashboards to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of HR programs.
Design and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) for People Operations, aligning metrics with strategic goals to measure efficiency, service delivery, compliance, and employee experience across core processes such as onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS support.
Payroll
Oversee payroll operations across multiple countries, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant processing in alignment with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
Manage payroll vendors and service providers, including contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Provide strategic insights and reporting to executive leadership, including payroll trends, cost analysis, and compliance metrics to inform decision-making and policy development.
HR Compliance
Develop and lead a comprehensive HR compliance framework. Work cross functionally with our regions to ensure alignment with local labor laws, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), and internal governance standards.
Partner closely with our regions to monitor regulatory changes across jurisdictions and assess their impact on HR policies and practices. Oversee the creation, implementation, and periodic review of HR policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.
Ensure consistency and compliance across regions while allowing for local adaptations where necessary.
Partner with Legal, Internal Audit, and IT to ensure SOX compliance and mitigate risks related to data security and employee records.
Promote awareness of ethical standards, anti-harassment policies, and workplace conduct expectations.
HR Project Management
Lead the HR Project Portfolio, prioritizing projects, deliverables and deadlines for the global team.
Communicate status to the HR Senior Leadership Team and Group Project Steering Committees.
Influence outcomes while making sure that key priorities, budgets and deliverables are on track.
Work closely with finance, IT and other key stakeholders to align and manage project scope, cost, schedule, quality, dependencies, and risks to meet project goals.
Qualifications:
Proven leadership experience in HR Shared Services, HR Operations and HR Technology in a global company
Proven track record of leading large-scale transformations and process improvement initiatives
Strong experience with HRIS systems and process automation
Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to manage tight deadlines and work in fast-paced environments
Analytical mindset with experience in people analytics and reporting
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) preferred
The base salary range for this position is $231,000 - $275,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location. All offers include access to a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
