Position Overview Beasley Media Group is seeking a detail-oriented Admin Assistant/HR Coordinator to support payroll administration, FCC compliance, financial operations, and various administrative functions for our Detroit market.
Key Responsibilities Payroll Administration
Process payroll data entry for new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments each pay period
Prepare and submit payroll import sheets for talent fees, commissions, and bonuses
Complete and submit Employee Change Forms (ECF) for salary changes, position changes, and terminations
Review and verify payroll accuracy, ensuring talent fees, commissions, and bonuses are processed correctly
Coordinate with Corporate Payroll Manager and Market Controller
FCC Political File Management
Upload political advertising orders and invoices to FCC public file website as required
Submit quarterly political reports in coordination with designated team members
Maintain compliance with FCC political advertising disclosure requirements
Collaborate with Corporate Senior Paralegal on political file matters
Financial & Accounting Functions
Process daily bank deposits via Synovous online banking platform
Verify CIA order payments through Stripe payment portal before order approval
Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to Miller Kaplan
Manage trade agreements and process vTrade management approvals
Calculate monthly talent fees
Coordinate with accounting team to research and resolve missing payment inquiries
Collaborate with Traffic Hub on invoice distribution
Administrative Support
Process advertising affidavits and maintain documentation
Handle new advertiser setup and client information updates
Manage distribution of tickets, gift cards, and promotional vouchers
Provide general administrative support to the market as needed
