The purpose of this position is to perform complex professional administrative work supporting a functional area within the Human Resources department related to employee relations and equity.
Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.
Master's degree in human resources and 5 years of employee relations experience in a Human Resources department is required, OR Master's Degree in a related field (Industrial Psychology, Labor Relations, MBA) and 5 years of employee relations experience in a Human Resources department is required. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred. Experience working in higher education preferred. Pro?cient working with all Microsoft O?ce programs, including database applications; excellent customer service, written and verbal communication skills. Must have a valid driver's license in good standing with violation points less than (5).
