DescriptionUnder the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Bilingual HR Coordinator will serve as a key point of contact for employees. This hourly role supports benefits administration, employee relations and core HR administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, and comfortable providing daily support to employees.
Responsibilities:
- Provide front line employee relations support by answering benefit questions, directing employees to appropriate resources, and escalating issues when needed.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, qualifying life event changes, and open enrollment questions.
- Support workers compensation and unemployment claims by gathering supporting documents.
- Assist with updates to HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Assist with recruiting and staffing activities, including interview coordination and support hiring processes
- Coordinate preemployment and employment related processes, including background checks and Form I9 completion
- Serve as occasional payroll backup when needed.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department as required.
Pay and Benefits:
- $22 to $24 and hour
- Monday to Friday work schedule
- Benefits and PTO after 60 days

Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- 1 to 3 years of experience, with direct exposure to benefits administration preferred.
- Experience with self funded medical plans is a plus.
- Previous experience with Paycom or similar HRIS/payroll systems.
- Strong customer service mindset and ability to communicate clearly with employees at all levels.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to travel occasionally, including to the San Antonio headquarters.
