Job Overview: The Bilingual Human Resource Generalist role serves as a strategic HR Generalist with a strong emphasis on employee relations, employee engagement, survey execution and action planning, and supporting retention initiatives. The ideal candidate will partner closely with leaders and employees across the organization to enhance employee experience, strengthen workplace culture, and support ETE’s mission and core values.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Employee Relations & HR Generalist Support

  • Serve as a trusted Employee Relations partner.
  • Conduct investigations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support HR department with Day-to-Day people responsibilities
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Act as an Employee Advocate and Ambassador.

Employee Engagement & Surveys

  • Help support employee engagement, onboarding, and pulse surveys.
  • Partner with leaders to interpret survey results and develop actionable engagement plans.
  • Establish and manage a survey follow-up cadence.
  • Lead engagement initiatives including recognition programs and company events.

Retention & Workforce Insights

  • Analyze turnover and engagement data.
  • Develop and implement targeted retention strategies.
  • Prepare regular HR reports and insights.

Communication & Culture

  • Maintain open communication with employees.
  • Promote diversity, inclusion, and respect.
  • Visit work locations and engage directly with employees.
  • Reinforce ETE’s employment brand and values.

Performance Management

  • Support performance reviews and development planning.
  • Coach leaders on feedback and development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 3+ years of human resource management experience preferred. (Manufacturing experience a plus)
  • Bilingual (Spanish) required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
