BASIC SCOPE/PURPOSE
Summary: Human Resources Generalist serves as administrator for several critical human resources functions and workforce management, including recruiting, employee/labor relations, health and safety, compensation, benefits, training, diversity, employee engagement, leave and attendance tracking, payroll, and employee records. Facilitates and communicates organizational policies and programs and ensures labor law and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will be proactive and have experience in handling a wide range of human resources tasks professionally and with total confidentiality.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•Provides internal support and partnership to deliver required human resources.
•Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits, and attendance
• Recruits, interviews, and facilitates hiring qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
• Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
• Performs other duties assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
•Bachelor’s Degree Human Resources or Business Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
•Knowledge of HR principals and federal/local regulations multiple states
•Minimum of 3 years’ human resource generalist experience
•Minimum of 1 years’ fast-paced recruiting
•ADP-WFN and Indeed experience preferred
•Very Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
•Ability to maintain confidentiality related to sensitive company and employee situation
•Excellent ability to multitask, prioritize and problem solve in a busy fast-paced environment
•Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point is essential

Work Environment:
•Office: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
•Warehouse: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to noisy.
Physical Demands:
•While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.
