Compensation: $100,000-$110,000 base salary + commission

Overview
U.S. Forensics, an ATS company, is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team and expand our market presence in the Gulf Coast region. This role blends relationship-driven business development with technical sales expertise, requiring a proactive professional who can cultivate strong client partnerships, drive revenue growth, and represent the company at industry events.  Additionally, this role will require the experience and expertise to create, launch, and drive a comprehensive BDM sales training program nationally. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Marketing Strategy
    • Design and implement an annual regional marketing and sales plan aligned with company objectives.
    • Translate strategic goals into actionable steps that drive measurable business growth.
    • Stay attuned to market trends, competitive landscape, and client needs to shape strategy.
    • Create, launch, and oversee a comprehensive BDM sales training program in collaboration with partners across Marketing, Operations and other business partners.
  • Client Development & Relationship Management
    • Manage and grow a portfolio of up to 100 client accounts.
    • Foster long-term partnerships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and technical liaison.
    • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across service lines.
    • Conduct client meetings, presentations, lunch-and-learns, and networking activities.
    • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and client events (BOMA, IFMA, etc.).
  • Proposal & Project Support
    • Conduct thorough needs analyses and project scope assessments to create accurate, compelling proposals.
    • Collaborate with internal Operations Managers to ensure proposed scopes align with codes, industry standards, and customer expectations.
    • Maintain consistency in proposal writing and revise based on feedback.
    • Utilize CRM tools (Deltek) to document opportunities, quotes, and client interactions.
  • Collaboration & Communication
    • Partner with internal marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure cohesive client engagement and comprehensive BDM training programs.
    • Share market intelligence and insights with leadership to refine strategies.
    • Maintain a shared vision, strategy, and focus across departments for all field sales and sales training endeavors. 


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required (BA or BS) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 years of professional sales experience (B2B, technical, or professional services preferred).
  • Proven success in proactive, face-to-face outside selling and account management.
  • Strong understanding of technical services with the ability to communicate complex solutions clearly.
  • Background or proven expertise in sales training and sales training programs/processes.
  • Familiarity with quality, safety, or reliability processes within relevant industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) and MS Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 50% within the region.
