Overview:
The Business Process & Training Manager serves as the operational lead for process optimization, structured training design, and enterprise-wide improvement efforts across both corporate and dealership operations. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who challenges the status quo, embraces continuous improvement, and thrives on cross-functional collaboration. The Manager will facilitate process mapping sessions, lead training development efforts, and support the design and execution of scalable process improvement initiatives. Working closely with leadership, this role will help define the future of operational excellence and workforce training across one of the nation’s fastest-growing RV dealership groups.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Process Leadership
Lead the creation, standardization, and governance of SOPs and workflows across departments.
Facilitate in-person and virtual workshops to map, document, and evaluate core business processes.
Apply Lean, Agile, and Six Sigma methodologies to identify improvement opportunities and reduce inefficiencies.
Training Program Development
Define training journeys aligned with business goals; update and enhance existing learning content.
Support LMS platform evaluation, selection, and implementation.
Collaborate with leadership and field teams to increase training effectiveness and adoption.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Change Management
Partner with department heads and field leadership to improve process compliance and optimize system usage.
Lead change management communication and training for the successful rollout of new processes and tools.
Build trusted partnerships across departments to gather feedback and drive sustainable improvement.
Enterprise Project Support & Strategy
Track project milestones, timelines, and deliverables across strategic initiatives.
Contribute to business case development by assessing value creation, risk reduction, and ROI.
Provide post-implementation reporting and performance analysis.
Communications & Internal Engagement
Support internal communications strategies for training initiatives and process changes.
Assist with the coordination and content development for company events and enterprise rollouts.
Maintain organized documentation libraries and communication channels for enterprise access.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
3–5 years of experience in operations, training, or process improvement—preferably in a multi-location or dealership environment.
Proven ability to lead change management initiatives, create training content, and facilitate workshops.
Strong skills in technical writing, SOP development, and documentation governance.
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, or other continuous improvement frameworks.
Excellent project management and strategic planning skills.
Effective communicator with the ability to engage all levels of the organization.
Background in dealership, retail, or service industries (corporate or field leadership) is a plus.
Ability to stand for extended periods during training or evaluations.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Up to 25% travel required to local sites for assessments, training sessions, and team engagement.
Flexibility to support multiple dealership locations across states as needed.
