Schedule/Hours: 36.25 Hours Per Week (M-F)

 

This position is responsible for:

 

Serves as the pivotal point of contact for divisional human resources departments, providing general information on policies, processes, and procedures. Plans, prepares, and maintains automated and/or manual personnel records, training, files, and documentation for the division. Prepares, manages, and reviews all HR Item paperwork for TSAMM – DFB Review. Manages and coordinates the seasonal hiring process and procedures for camp and Christmas. Coordinates and manages HR special projects and provides additional support to HR department personnel. Provides divisional human resources support to the field and officers. Works closely with the Divisional Secretary for Personnel and Divisional Human Resources Director in distributing and communicating information to the division; notifies the Divisional Human Resources Director and Divisional Secretary for Personnel of any noncompliance promptly. Manages and coordinates the new hire onboarding and transfer processes to include seasonal hires. Oversees compliance with the termination process for the division.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Maintains, prepares, and processes all divisional HR items in TSAMM for Divisional Finance Board approval; Assists and collaborates closely with the Divisional Secretary for Personnel and the Divisional HR Director to ensure compliance with Territorial policies and procedures

 

  • Receives, reviews, and processes all new hires; ensures all paperwork is received and completed; contacts corps to request any missing paperwork.

 

  • Manages all data entry for onboarding and off boarding, change in statuses, transfers, terminations, etc. through the HCM system.

 

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Ability to meet attendance requirements.
Duties are usually performed standing or sitting. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking.

Fair amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting, and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time.

Work is performed in an environment where there is little, or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like. Occasional travel to other sites may require shared use of spaces.

Qualifications
  • Two (2) year degree from an accredited technical or vocational school, AND

 

  • Two (2) years’ experience working in the human resource field, OR

 

  • Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

 

 

Licenses and Certifications:

Valid State Driver's License
