Job Objective & Safety/Security Sensitive Designation

JOB OBJECTIVE:The Employee Relations Intern supports the Department of Human Resources by assisting the Labor & Employee Relations team with research, data organization, training preparation, and documentation related to employee relations activities. This role provides exposure to real-world HR practices while ensuring the intern works under close supervision and does not serve in an advisory or decision-making capacity.

This position is not designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is not subject to random drug and alcohol screening.

Minimum Qualifications, Additional Requirements and Supervisory Responsibilities

One year of college coursework in Psychology, Sociology, Business or a relevant field.
