About the RoleWe are search for an experienced Employee Relations Manager to support a growing organization with more than 1,500 employees. This role sits at the center of employee relations, investigations, and leave of absence management while serving as a trusted partner to senior leadership.
You will work directly with VPs and department leaders to provide guidance on employee issues, risk mitigation, and compliance, while also supporting employees through complex workplace challenges. This role requires sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to manage high-volume, high-impact cases without losing the human element.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage employee investigations from intake through resolution, including performance issues, conduct concerns, and policy violations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for leave of absence cases, including FMLA, ADA, medical, and personal leaves
- Partner with senior leadership and VPs to provide HR guidance, employee relations consulting, and risk-aware recommendations
- Support employees navigating workplace challenges with clarity, fairness, and consistency
- Ensure investigations and leave cases are documented accurately and handled in compliance with company policy and employment law
- Identify trends in employee relations issues and provide proactive recommendations to leadership
- Collaborate with HR leadership, legal, and operations teams as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all employee matters
Qualifications- 3–6 years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or HR Business Partner roles
- Proven experience handling high-volume employee investigations and leave of absence claims
- Experience supporting organizations with 1,500+ employees strongly preferred
- Strong working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and employee relations best practices
- Ability to work directly with senior leaders and influence outcomes through sound judgment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to balance business needs and employee advocacy
- High level of discretion, organization, and follow-through
