Salary range: $71,760 - $97,760/yr depending on experience

The Employee Relations Manager reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and is responsible for overseeing the Human Resources Representatives supporting programs and departments.
Requirements: Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;
- Master's degree preferred
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience with 3 years in employee relations
- 1+ years of experience managing HR professionals
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent professional certification preferred

We are looking for a compassionate and engaging Employee Relations Manager to serve as a strategic partner in maintaining a positive work environment, resolving workplace concerns, and ensuring compliance with agency policies and state and federal employment laws.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following, depending on the departmental assignment and services provided. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of HR Representatives who support various programs and departments
- Facilitate ongoing professional development and training for HR Representatives
- Under the guidance of the CHRO, oversee the resolution of complex employee relations issues across the organization
- Serve as an escalation point for difficult employee matters that require senior-level intervention
- Contribute to the development, review, and updating of HR policies and procedures
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies across all programs and departments
- Assist CHRO in ensuring organizational compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Stay current on legislative changes that impact employee relations
- Collaborate with the CHRO on strategic HR initiatives in support of the Strategic Plan
- Provide data-driven insights on employee relations trends to executive leadership
- Facilitate resolution of interpersonal conflicts between employees or between employees and
- management
- Participate in training staff and managers in conflict resolution, supervision and other areas contributing to a positive workplace culture
