SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: Provide excellent and quality human resources support to all staff in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures as well as established standards.


REPORTS TO: Director of Human Resources

  1. * Serve as the initial point of contact for all human resource-related questions for Health Services Administrators and employees in the area of assignment.   
  2. * Provide guidance and counseling to employees on employment-related matters.  
  3. * Investigate complaints reported by Health Services Administrators and employees regarding policy violations or other concerns.  
  4. * Research and make determinations on corrective action requests submitted by all levels of managers in the area of assignment, ensuring consistent and non-discriminatory application of policy. 
  5. * Draft corrective action letters for all approved corrective action requests. 
  6. * Provide feedback to Health Services Administrators regarding corrective action requests. Discuss concerns regarding the consistent and non-discriminatory application to be taken on employee performance concerns.
  7. * Provide counseling and guidance to Health Services Administrators regarding action needed for employee performance concerns.
  8. * Process terminations and draft separation letters for all employees in the area of assignment.
  9. * Provide one-on-one notification and feedback to employees in the event of an involuntary separation.
  10. Provide counseling and corrective action to employees in the absence of the Health Services Administrator.
  11. Identify and escalate concerns regarding medication administration to the proper authority.
  12. Identify trends in performance issues, policy concerns, turnover, hiring, and other areas related to Human Resources. Provide feedback to senior management regarding action plans needed for improvement in these areas.
  13. Provide feedback to the Director of Human Resources regarding policy improvements.
  14. Maintain a professional working relationship with facility staff, contracted providers, outside services providers and Company staff. 
  15. Answer and process telephone calls. 
  16. Perform all other duties as assigned or delegated by management.
Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:  

  1.  Bachelor’s degree in a Human Resources-related field, or equivalent experience. 
  2. 2-4 years’ experience in human resources, preferred. 

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:  

  1. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).
  3. Ability to collaborate effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  4. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.  
Salary Description
$50,000 per year
