Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CPO and HR leadership team members to formulate, research, pilot and launch strategic HR initiatives to address key opportunities in the business and improve employee experience.  
  • Partner closely with CPO in a partial chief of staff capacity, to optimize the productivity, engagement and well-being of the ~40 person HR team. 
  • Project-manage all major people and talent transformation initiatives, including building detailed project plans, aligning and managing dependencies, designing and executing stakeholder communications, and contributing directly to frameworks and work product. 
  • Engage with stakeholders for feedback, alignment, and deployment of new processes and technology improvements. 
  • Demonstrate strong ethics, excellent judgment, business acumen, critical thinking, reasonable mathematical aptitude. 
  • Quickly learn and leverage HR systems functionality and reporting to advance HR strategies and objectives. 
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills, and build strong relationships. 

Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of experience in HR or a related field with significant portion of responsibilities in analytics and program or project management. Experience at a top management or human capital consultancy and at least one startup preferred. 
  • Systems-thinking approach to problem-solving, with the ability to deconstruct complex HR issues (e.g., compensation design) into their foundational elements, construct and integrate analytical tools (e.g., an Excel ecosystem) and conceptual frameworks (e.g., a total rewards philosophy), and provide data-backed options that predict their business impact. 
  • Expertise in MS PowerPoint and advanced Excel; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus. 
  • Demonstrated ability to handle highly sensitive data with discretion. 

 

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: USD $130,000 – $150,000 annually

  • Final offer will be based on factors such as education, work experience, and certifications.
