Job Description

The Role

You are a strategic, empathetic individual who will guide strong teams through high growth and development. You will help enable an evolving and rapid-growth business through identifying opportunities to develop and improve people infrastructure. This position is not a traditional Human Resources role and we are open to non-HR leaders.

The work above is successful only if done while preserving a great culture and retaining great people.

Key Responsibilities

Define and drive Divert’s people & culture practices in a manner that scales along with the company. Be the visionary and the enabler for the entire talent lifecycle:

  • Attract/hire: figure out how to get great talent from all over the world to come to Divert to support our mission and bring them through an equitable hiring process
  • Onboard: build and execute effective and efficient onboarding experience for new employees
  • Develop: identify and support learning and dev’t needs for all employees (group vs 1:1 vs team-based)
  • Retain: build programs to retain key talent; ensure regular cadence of talent and succession planning
  • Build and deliver great pay and benefits programs that support our employees and their families

Please note: The Head of People position is NOT remote-based role Only candidates local to Massachusetts (or willing to self-relocate) will be considered.

Qualifications

Education/Qualifications/Experience/Skills

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program, preferably with a focus in Business Management, Communications, or similar
  • 8 to 12 years experience
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
