The Role
We’re hiring a Head of People Operations to design the systems that drive Flowhub’s culture, performance, and growth. This is not an HR generalist role. This is a strategic operator role at the intersection of culture, compensation, and organizational design.
You will architect career leveling, compensation frameworks, and performance systems that scale across every department. You’ll partner with executives and managers to ensure Flowhub consistently hires, develops, and retains A players — while keeping our culture sharp and uncompromising.
You’ll report directly to the CEO and be a trusted partner to the leadership team.
What You’ll Do
- Architect leveling & compensation: Build and implement career frameworks, leveling guides, and compensation bands across every department. Ensure pay and promotions are equitable, competitive, and crystal-clear.
- Systematize performance: Create a performance management system that drives continuous feedback, fair calibration, and annual comp cycles tied to outcomes and accountability.
- Upgrade recruiting & onboarding: Partner with hiring managers to design a funnel that consistently delivers A players, and onboarding that accelerates ramp and cultural alignment.
- Elevate manager capability: Coach and train managers to give hard feedback, develop talent, and lead high-performing teams.
- Strengthen People Ops foundation: Ensure payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee relations run smoothly and simply, while keeping the majority of focus on scaling strategic systems.
- Be the culture carrier: Protect Flowhub’s values (high performance, low ego, accountability) and act as the early-warning system for cultural drift.
- Operate with data & rigor: Use engagement, retention, hiring, and performance data to shape decisions and measure impact.
- Partner strategically: Push executives and managers to make people decisions that support both business outcomes and cultural health.
What We’re Looking For
- Systems builder — you’ve designed leveling, comp, or org frameworks in a scaling environment (100–500+ employees ideal).
- Business fluent — you connect people metrics to pipeline, ARR, churn, and velocity; you think in terms of outcomes, not activity.
- Operator mindset — you run People Ops with the precision of a COO, not just the policies of HR.
- High standards — you demand excellence, set clear expectations, and don’t tolerate mediocrity.
- Candid coach — you can give hard feedback to executives and ICs with clarity and empathy.
- Low ego, high trust — you care about impact, not credit.
- Legally sharp — you spot risk early and close gaps fast, without slowing the business down.
