Position Summary

The HR Assistant / Recruiter supports Medivant Healthcare’s Human Resources function by assisting with end-to-end recruitment activities, benefits administration support, and day-to-day HR operations. This role plays a key part in talent acquisition, employee lifecycle support, HR documentation, and compliance-related activities.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual communication skills are strongly preferred to support effective communication with a diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Support full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and candidates

  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and assist with offer coordination

  • Maintain recruitment trackers and applicant records

  • Support onboarding activities, including new hire documentation and orientation coordination

HR Operations & Employee Support

  • Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR systems

  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and system updates

  • Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and general HR support

  • Assist with attendance tracking, leave management, and payroll inputs

Benefits Administration Support

  • Assist with employee benefits administration, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans

  • Coordinate benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations

  • Support communication with benefits vendors and brokers as needed

  • Respond to employee questions regarding benefits and enrollment processes

  • Assist with benefits documentation and compliance tracking

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure HR documentation is completed accurately and maintained in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

  • Assist with HR audits, training tracking, and compliance reporting

  • Prepare HR MIS reports and maintain Excel-based trackers

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

  • 2–4 years of experience in HR operations and/or recruitment

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and HR documentation

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred

  • Familiarity with HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
