Position Summary

Wellspire Medical Group is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Human Resources Assistant to support the HR Director with daily HR operations, with a primary focus on payroll processing using ADP Workforce Now. This role is critical to ensuring accurate payroll administration, employee data integrity, and responsive support to staff on basic HR-related matters. This is an in-office position based in Humble, Texas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and timely using ADP Workforce Now

  • Perform payroll-related data entry, updates, and audits within ADP Workforce Now

  • Enter and maintain employee data in ADP and other third-party HR or benefits systems

  • Assist with payroll reconciliations, corrections, and reporting

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, timekeeping, benefits enrollment, and basic HR policies

  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including employee documentation and system updates

  • Maintain confidentiality of employee records and sensitive information at all times

  • Assist HR Director with administrative HR tasks and special projects as assigned

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, wage and hour laws, and payroll regulations

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of hands-on payroll processing experience using ADP Workforce Now (required)

  • Proven experience entering and maintaining payroll and employee data in HR systems

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Basic knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to professionally assist employees

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a healthcare or medical group setting

  • Familiarity with third-party payroll, benefits, or timekeeping software

  • HR certification or coursework (a plus, not required)
