Operation PAR, Inc. is a non-profit organization offering the full continuum of services for individuals with substance use and/or mental health disorders. PAR has been providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment in west Florida since 1970 through advocacy, education, clinical services, and research.

JOB FUNCTIONS:
Confidential position dealing with sensitive personal information from a diverse employee population. Generates reports, invoices and develops/updates forms using the appropriate tools and websites. Inputs private employee data into ADP Workforce Now, the training database and other data management systems.
Assists employees with questions and requests from the Human Resources department. Tracks required personnel/benefit documentation assuring employee records are current and up to date. Ability to apply attention to detail is required to maintain compliance with federal regulations.
Ability to establish and maintain effective positive working relationship with all staff and the public. Assists with planning and execution of special events. Assists with other duties or projects as assigned as appropriate to the HR department mission.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates degree/equivalent or two or more years of Human Resources related experience preferred. High school diploma plus some additional technical studies/training with at least one year of Human Resources related experience may be considered.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed to prepare various types of correspondence in a courteous pleasant manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills with Microsoft office products, knowledge of basic math and data management systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills are required using the company tools available to manage daily responsibilities to meet all deadlines.
- Maintain electronic employee files for benefits and assist the payroll department with deductions or changes as it relates to benefits.
- Assists or conducts new hire orientations by educating and informing employees about company benefits.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to use applicable computer software (i.e.. Excel, Word, etc.)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to establish positive working relationships and effectively delegate duties
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to write accurately and legibly
- Ability to sit at a desk and view a display screen for extended periods of time
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must pass a level II background check and drug screen
- Valid driver’s license or ID card
