Port to Port International is hiring an HR Assistant to support our Human Resources operations in New Castle, DE. This is a fully on-site position and reports to the HR Manager. The role is focused on administrative support, organization, and helping bring structure and consistency to HR operations.
This is a hands-on position that will work closely with HR leadership to support employees, maintain accurate records, and improve day-to-day HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Organize, clean up, and maintain employee files (digital and physical)
• Assist employees with HR-related questions including PTO balances and basic requests
• Support onboarding and ensure employee documentation is complete and organized
• Enter and update employee information in HR systems (Paylocity experience is a plus)
• Track HR documents, forms, and acknowledgments
• Help improve and maintain organization within HR processes and records
• Provide administrative support directly to the HR Manager
Requirements
• Bilingual English and Spanish required
• 1–3 years of experience in HR or administrative support
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Paylocity experience is a plus, not required
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Some Saturdays may be required initially based on business needs and to support organizational efforts

Compensation
$18–$20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
