The Human Resources Assistant supports day-to-day HR operations and serves as the first point of contact for employee inquiries. This role assists with onboarding, recruitment support, employee records management, payroll coordination, benefits administration, HR compliance, and HRIS data entry.


Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, professional, and experienced in administrative support within Human Resources. Strong communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information are essential.

Essential Job Functions

• Support onboarding and new hire orientation processes
• Maintain and organize employee records and HR documentation
• Assist with interview scheduling, recruitment coordination, and HR events
• Provide administrative support for payroll, benefits, and compliance tasks
• Enter and maintain accurate data in HRIS and internal systems
• Serve as a professional first point of contact for HR inquiries
• Perform additional HR administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Non-slip shoes required (not provided)

 

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to stand and/or walk for the duration of scheduled shifts.
• Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to work in environments with moderate noise, dust, and cleaning agents.
• Comfortable working in close or high-traffic environments.
• Ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

 

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ year of administrative or Human Resources experience preferred
