HR Assistant

HR Specialist – Salt Lake City, UT

Major Drilling is looking for a dependable and organized HR Specialist to join our Salt Lake City team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping employees, staying organized, and supporting daily HR operations in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Assist employees with questions about benefits, policies, payroll, and HR processes
• Support employee relations matters and workplace concerns
• Track leaves of absence and follow up on return-to-work documentation
• Process employee changes, terminations, and HR paperwork
• Support onboarding and new hire orientation
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies
• Enter and update employee information in ADP
• Assist with benefits administration and employee programs
• Support the HR team with general administrative tasks and special projects

What We’re Looking For

• 1–3 years of HR, office, or administrative experience preferred
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and professional communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities
• Dependable and self-motivated
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• ADP or HRIS experience is a plus
