About the role

The HR Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR department, ensuring efficient operations and excellent service to employees. This role assists with recruitment, onboarding, Formal Orientation, employee record maintenance, benefits administration, and HR compliance. The HR Assistant serves as a key point of contact for employee inquiries and helps foster a positive workplace culture through timely and accurate support. To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and communications skills, sound judgment and discretion, a passion for delivering outstanding internal service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative office setting.


Qualifications

  • High school graduate. Previous experience in HR, hospital and/or office procedures.
  • Associates degree preferred.
  • Computer skills, knowledge of general office practices; experience with HR systems or employee relations is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Can type minimum of 45 words per minute.
  • Strong customer service skills and desire to work with and help people of all diversities.
  • Able to make sound decisions and follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Familiarity with employment laws, healthcare compliance and HR best practice is a plus.

Starting pay range is $22.52 - $25.50 and varies based on experience.
