We are currently seeking an HR Assistant to provide essential administrative support by managing employee records, assisting with benefits enrollments, and facilitating onboarding. Responsibilities include maintaining compliance, updating databases (HRIS/ATS), scheduling interviews, and tracking staff training requirements to ensure compliance. Key skills required are discretion, organization, and proficiency in MS Office. Key duties include:

  • Onboarding & Recruitment: Facilitates onboarding process including all onboarding documentation, posting job openings, and scheduling interviews.

  • HRIS/Database Management: Update HRIS systems with employee information (personal data, training records, etc.). Tracks compliance with staff training requirements.

  • Facilitates benefits documentation with full time staff. 

  • Assist with employee functions (potlucks, luncheons, appreciation days, birthday cards, etc)


  • Experience: Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant, or relevant administrative role.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field is preferred.

  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

  • Attributes: Exceptional organizational, communication, and time-management skills with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
