Unit Description

Delaware North operates concessions, premium dining, and retail services at Rate Field, home of the Chicago White Sox, and has been a partner of the White Sox since 1940. We manage concession stands at the 40,615-seat stadium with a menu offering Windy City-inspired favorites.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain unit’s employee files by verifying paperwork is received, alphabetizing, filing document, and auditing files as needed
  • Track training on Excel and ensure compliance with all training standards 
  • Assist with answering all HR inquiries by phone and in-person 
  • Set up training sessions and hiring events
  • Assist with new hire orientation and conduct trainings as needed
  • Assist with completing I9 documents and other new hire paperwork
  • Help with team members engagement projects, including the completion of the unit’s newsletter and other fun activities to engage and motivate team members
  • Create a welcoming environment in HR, responding to all inquiries and questions, answering phone calls and responding to emails
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or some college strongly preferred
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain strict coonfidentiality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
  • Strong organization skills to manage employee records, coordinate trainings and handle employeed inquiries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to help support employee needs
  • Ability to handle sensitive information while maintaining strict confidentiality 
  • Strong Attention to detail
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to help with a variety of tasks and projects as they arise
