We are looking for an enthusiastic HR Assistant to serve as the first point of contact for visitors and employees and to support key Human Resources operations. In this role, you'll manage front desk operations, coordinate pre-employment processes, and support onboarding and HR administrative functions that impact the entire organization. Create a welcoming experience by managing front desk operations and greeting employees, applicants, and visitors professionally and warmly.
Coordinate pre-employment activities, including scheduling interviews and arranging background checks and screenings to ensure candidates move smoothly through the hiring process.
Assist during New Hire Orientation by helping collect required employment documentation and ensuring all onboarding paperwork is completed accurately.
Create and issue employee ID cards for new hires and internal transfers.
Maintain accurate filing systems (both electronic and paper) for HR documentation and employee records.
Track and update information across various HR systems, ensuring employee records and hiring data remain current and organized.
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and ensure the timely distribution of important correspondence.
Support special HR initiatives and projects such as training days, employee events, compliance activities, and process improvements.
Provide general administrative support that helps the HR department stay organized, responsive, and effective.
High School Diploma or GED required. College degree preferred, especially for recent grads seeking to begin a career in Human Resources.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and manage sensitive employee information with discretion
Warm, exuberant, and welcoming personality with strong customer service instincts
Highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong communication skills and professionalism when interacting with staff, applicants, and visitors
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office systems
