JOB SUMMARY

Latrobe's Human Resources Coordinator is an integral part of the site's HR team in supporting the strategic and administrative needs of the facility. This role provides support to the human resource function and the overall organization by providing excellent customer service to and being the point of contact for all facility employees. As we continue to grow, the Human Resources Coordinator will also participate in continuous improvement projects to ensure the best experience for City's candidates and employees.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Responds to any HR-related employee questions and concerns; escalates as needed to the sites HR Manager 
  • Collaborates with the HR Generalist and HR Manager on recruiting, onboarding, and training metrics; pulls data as needed  
  • Assists with recruiting and onboarding activities for all hourly positions
  • Works with the site's Training Manager to ensure all employees receive proper onboarding
  • Responsible for monitoring job boards and related postings for open positions including social media campaigns
  • Participates in job fairs, community outreach and other external partnerships to foster company/employee/community relationships
  • Performs administrative duties as well as coordination of internal/external meetings and events
  • Fosters consistent internal communications including maintaining the company bulletin boards
  • Provides exceptional customer service to stakeholders both internal and external to the organization 
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of human resource initiatives as assigned
  • Understands the site's safety practices to encourage and enforce a safe work environment for all employees

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in related subject, preferred 
  • At least 2 years of Human Resource related experience
  • Experience with recruiting, preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel
  • Experience working with an HRIS 
  • Must be able to commute between local sites as well as external events as needed
  • Ability to work flexibility to support a 24/7 employee population
