Compensation
The salary range for this position is $19.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
This position will be Temporary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate and support full-cycle onboarding, including new hire paperwork, orientation, and system setup.

Maintain employee personnel files and HRIS records ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Assist with timekeeping, attendance tracking, and payroll support for hourly employees.

Provide support with California meal and rest break compliance, wage and hour regulations, and labor law postings.

Assist with workers’ compensation claims, return-to-work coordination in HRIS System, and injury documentation as a back-up for the EHS Safety Specialist / Manager.

Support recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates

Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.

Translate HR communications and assist with employee interactions for Spanish-speaking employees.

Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, and documentation as needed

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.

Support ITAR compliance requirements, including proper documentation and employment eligibility verification.

Coordinate employee training, safety programs, and compliance documentation.

Assist with audits and reporting related to HR compliance and regulatory requirements.

Run daily / weekly reports needed
Qualifications

Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)

2+ years of HR administrative or HR coordinator experience

Experience working in manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial environments preferred

Knowledge of California labor laws and wage and hour regulations

Experience with HRIS systems, payroll support, and timekeeping systems

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information

High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Work Environment

Manufacturing / aerospace production environment

Interaction with production employees, supervisors, and management

Require to walk and support production floor following safety protocols
