Compensation 

The salary range for this position is $19.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.  

This position will be Temporary  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate and support full-cycle onboarding, including new hire paperwork, orientation, and system setup. 
  • Maintain employee personnel files and HRIS records ensuring accuracy and compliance. 
  • Assist with timekeeping, attendance tracking, and payroll support for hourly employees. 
  • Provide support with California meal and rest break compliance, wage and hour regulations, and labor law postings. 
  • Assist with workers’ compensation claims, return-to-work coordination in HRIS System, and injury documentation as a back-up for the EHS Safety Specialist / Manager.  
  • Support recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates 
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures. 
  • Translate HR communications and assist with employee interactions for Spanish-speaking employees. 
  • Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, and documentation as needed 
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information. 
  • Support ITAR compliance requirements, including proper documentation and employment eligibility verification. 
  • Coordinate employee training, safety programs, and compliance documentation. 
  • Assist with audits and reporting related to HR compliance and regulatory requirements. 
  • Run daily / weekly reports needed  
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications 

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) 
  • 2+ years of HR administrative or HR coordinator experience 
  • Experience working in manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial environments preferred 
  • Knowledge of California labor laws and wage and hour regulations 
  • Experience with HRIS systems, payroll support, and timekeeping systems 
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information 
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities 

Work Environment 

  • Manufacturing / aerospace production environment 
  • Interaction with production employees, supervisors, and management 
  • Require to walk and support production floor following safety protocols
