Job Objective/Summary: The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative support to human resources procedures and assists with tasks throughout all areas of the HR department. In addition, the HR Coordinator assists with recruiting & retention initiatives, onboarding, benefits, and payroll. This position also has an active role in ensuring all human resources functions comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Job Education, Licenses/Certifications, Knowledge & Experience: A High School Diploma or equivalent required; AAS in Business, Human Resources, or other related degree is preferred. Some recruiting experience is desired. Experience in Human Resources and/or payroll is preferred. Tech savvy, flexible, and a self-starter; able to multitask while also being detail-oriented. Experience working with Lawson Software and/or Timekeeping systems is highly desirable. Familiar with state and federal payroll and HR laws. Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
