JOB DESCRIPTION

Guarantee Trust Life is pleased to announce an opportunity for a full-time HR Coordinator. This role supports the daily operations of the HR Team by performing various administrative tasks. We seek a highly organized, detail-oriented, and personable individual to join our HR Team. This position reports directly to the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources. The role requires on-site attendance five days per week at our Glenview, IL office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as an intermediary between HR and employees, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of inquiries and requests.
  • Support HR programs related to talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and benefits administration.
  • Provide recruitment support, including:
    • Greeting candidates at reception, conducting initial resume reviews in the Applicant Tracking System, communicating with candidates via phone/email/text, scheduling interviews, administering candidate assessments, performing reference checks, screening entry-level candidates, and assisting with job postings.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital files, records, policies, and other relevant documentation.
  • Aid in maintaining information and resources within the HR Drive and HRIS.
  • Assist with planning and executing special events such as wellness programs, organization-wide meetings, and employee recognition events.
  • Generate and update monthly employee lists, active staff directories, and company organization charts.
  • Process employee wellness reimbursement requests, invoices, and bills.
  • Manage HR Department expenses.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1 + years of experience in Human Resources preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR management or related field preferred, or equivalent experience. 
  • Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Quick learner of HR Technology; Paycom experience is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proven time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Adaptable to a high-paced, dynamic environment.
  • High sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
  • Teamwork-oriented.

The pay range provided is not a guarantee of compensation.  The range reflects potential pay for the job grade for this role at the time of this posting. Compensation will depend on several factors such as specific competencies, relevant education and experience, qualifications, and industry certifications.  Compensation ranges are subject to change and may be higher or lower than the range described above.
