Job Description
The HR Coordinator plays a key administrative and support role in the HR and Team Member experience areas. They assist with various HR functions, ensuring smooth and effective HR Operations.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration
- Employee Records and Documentation
- Recruitment and Onboarding Support
- HR Compliance and Reporting
- Training and Development Coordination
- Point of contact for Employee Relations and Communication
- General Administrative Support
Specific duties include:
- Administer payroll, verify Time and Attendance through our HRIS system Workday
- Assist in Benefits enrollment and answer employee questions about coverage
- Help coordinate open enrollment and communicate changes in benefits
- Maintain and update employee records in Workday; ensuring all personnel files are accurate and compliant with legal requirements; process and track changes in employment status for employees
- Post job openings through Workday; schedule interviews and communicate with candidates; coordinate onboarding activities for new hires
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions; track employee training completions and certifications
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, including surveys and recognition programs; help organize HR events and Volunteer opportunities
- Manage HR calendars and any special projects
- Any other duties as necessary
Required Skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Microsoft Word, Excel as well as basic math skills
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems β Workday experience is a plus
- Capable of handling and maintaining highly confidential information
Education
- A Bachelorβs Degree in human resources, business administration or a related field is required
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR required
