Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and talented HR Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the HR department in various administrative tasks and day-to-day operations, ensuring that HR functions run smoothly and efficiently. This role is key in maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment, facilitating employee onboarding, and supporting HR-related projects and processes. How You’ll Help Us Improve Healthcare
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist with job postings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, candidate follow-up, and offer letter generation. Process pre-employment screening. Assist in the onboarding process for new employees.
- Administrative Support: Maintain and update employee records and databases, including new-hire information. Provide additional office administrative support as needed.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns. Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events. Support HR team in resolving employee issues and maintaining a positive work environment. Help lead culture.
- HR team support: Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed. Provide support in implementing new HR programs and policies. Assist in conducting employee surveys and analyzing results. Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
A Few Things About You
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in an HR role or related administrative position.
- Skills:
- Strong organization and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently, strong attention to detail while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with HR systems (Paylocity preferred)
- Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, etc.).
- Certifications: PHR, SHRM-CP, or other professional certification is a plus.
