SUMMARY STATEMENT


We are seeking an HR Coordinator to support our agriculture-based organization. This role provides coordination and administrative support across a variety of HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, employee support, benefits administration, and HR operations.



The HR Coordinator works closely with HR leadership and hiring managers to help ensure HR processes run smoothly while supporting both hourly and professional employees. The ideal candidate is highly organized, enjoys working with people, and is interested in gaining experience across multiple areas of human resources.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate recruiting activities including job postings, candidate communications, and interview scheduling.
  • Support onboarding processes to ensure a smooth new hire experience.
  • Maintain employee records and HRIS data.
  • Assist with benefits administration and leave tracking.
  • Serve as an initial point of contact for employee HR questions.
  • Assist with payroll documentation and other HR administrative tasks as needed.
  • Coordinate training sessions, employee communications, and HR initiatives.
  • Track basic HR metrics and assist with reporting.
  • Support employee engagement activities, job fairs, and recruiting events.
  • Assist with offboarding processes and other HR projects as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 0–2 years of HR, recruiting, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Experience supporting hourly or operational employees.
  • Experience in agriculture, agribusiness, laboratory, manufacturing, or a related industry a plus.
