Job Summary:
The HR Coordinator will be responsible for supporting, administering and deploying HR related programs across multiple HR Center of Excellences (COE), which may include Talent Acquisition, L&D and Communications.
Responsibilities:
Key Accountabilities:
- Maintains effective communication with all levels of the distribution center to ensure productivity, morale and performance of associates.
- Responsible for functions such as maintain payroll DC Associate attendance reporting, hourly turnover, and processing terminations
- Handle Human Resources policy and procedure administration in compliance with federal, state and local EEOC laws.
- Provide clear, concise information regarding company policies and procedures, benefits and payroll to new and current associates.
- Conduct new hire orientations
- Responsible for onboarding follow up
- Assist with DC Associate questions around benefits and payroll
- Coordinates and collects relevant data related for investigation and government regulation.
- Monitors adequate communication of the business through building meetings, bulletin boards, and other forms of verbal and written communication.
- Coordinates forum for open exchange of ideas including: associate focus group meetings and associate committee meetings.
- Responsible for driving building events including but not limited to: recognition/reward programs, quarterly meetings and open enrollment meetings.
- Insures compliance in all Federal and State Labor Laws and practices for facility
Education and Requirements:
- Candidate cannot have any relatives that are currently employed in the facility
- Candidate cannot previously have worked for TCP
- Must be able to main confidentiality
- Must have a flexible work schedule (ability to work weekends and/or evenings)
- BA/BS in Human Resources or related study
- Minimum of 2 years prior experience in a Distribution Center or similar office environment
- PHR certification a plus
- Strong Leadership Skills
- Candidate cannot have any relatives that are currently employed in the facility
- Candidate cannot previously have worked for TCP
- Must be able to main confidentiality
- Must have a flexible work schedule (ability to work weekends and/or evenings)
- Must have knowledge of applicable laws and liability related to HR functions
- Ability to meet deadlines with quality, sense of urgency and attention to detail a must
- Must have effective and clear communication skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to work well within a team environment, and successfully build relationships with associates and leaders of all levels
- Must demonstrate the ability to be flexible and manage multiple tasks simultaneously within a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency/Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Power Point required
Hourly/Salary
$50,000.00 - $100,000.00 Salary
