SUMMARY: The HR Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the Human Resources function by handling day-to-day HR operations, ensuring accurate data management, and delivering a positive employee experience. This position serves as the first point of contact for employee inquires, manages key processes, and provides administrative and project support to the HR team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
Recruiting & Onboarding
o Post and update job boards
o Screen resumes and coordinate interviews for CHRO and hiring managers
o Communicate with candidates and hiring managers during the recruiting process
o Prepare offer letters and pre-hire paperwork
o Organize new hire onboarding and ensure completion of onboarding tasks (HRIS setup, benefit enrollment, etc.)
Employee Records & HRIS
o Maintain employee files
o Update employee data in HRIS + payroll system (address changes, job title updates, pay adjustments, etc.)
o Ensure 100% accuracy in HRIS data entry and reporting.
Employee Relations Support
o Be first point of contact for general HR questions (PTO, Flex, policies, forms, etc.)
o Help coordinate recognition programs, events and cultural initiatives
o Support CHRO in investigating and documenting employee issues when escalated
Compliance & Reporting
o Assist in maintaining compliance with federal and state employment laws (FMLA notices, state reporting, etc.)
o Run routine reports from HRIS (headcount, turnover, PTO balances, etc.)
o Ensure posters, policies, and employee handbooks are current and distributed.
General Support
o Schedule meetings, training sessions, and exit interviews
o Prepare HR communications (emails, policy updates, etc.)
o Support CHRO in special projects (compensation review, engagement surveys, Open Enrollment)
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related field preferred
• 1-3 of HR experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism
• Detailed oriented with strong follow-through
