Summary of Duties:
The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator provides essential administrative and operational support to the HR department. This entry-level, in-office position is highly task-oriented and ideal for individuals who are detail-focused, organized, and interested in beginning a career in Human Resources. The HR Coordinator ensures that critical HR functions are executed efficiently, supporting compliance, organization, and timely communication across the team.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources Generalist Qualifications/Skills:
•0-1 years of successful experience in human resources
•BA/BS desired
•Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
•Knowledge of federal and state employment laws; experience with multi-state law desired.
•Must have in-depth knowledge of all major categories of employment relationship, including employee relations, safety and work environment, training, recruitment, statistical analysis, workers compensation and benefits
• Excellent communication and people skills
•Ability to effectively analyze data and provide recommendations
• Outstanding knowledge of MS Office
Experience with the following is a plus:
Willingness to learn American Sign Language and Deaf culture
PHR or SPHR Certification preferred but not required.
