Description

Position Summary

Provides high level administrative support  for the Human Resources Office.  Primary responsibilities include administration of the new hire, transfer, promotion and  termination workflow process.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. The HR Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Human Resources team by delivering administrative support services that enable effective operations and a positive employee experience.
  2. Under general supervision, this position performs a wide variety of  administrative assignments which are confidential in nature. 
  3. Greets customers, resolves problems and customer service inquiries within scope of authority, screens and routes call to appropriate individuals, takes and delivers messages. 
  4. Composes correspondence and other documentation requiring knowledge of the policies and procedures of the Human Resources Department.  Creates, edits and processes memoranda, reports and other materials.
  5. Maintains personnel files in a timely, confidential and professional manner.  Ensures all related paperwork is updated into electronic file database in a timely manner and in compliance with the Pueblo policy, procedures and guidelines.
  6. Utilizes the Pueblo’s computer system to input, access, retrieve and review confidential data.
  7. Provide employment verification responses for outside requestors in a timely basis.
  8. Provides assistance to portions of HR sponsored programs, such as Employee Recognition and Rewardsetc.
  9. Ensures all personal information entered into the Self-Service by team members  are audited and formatted appropriately prior to final  upload into the HRIS.
  10. Sorts, screens, and distributes incoming and outgoing mail
  11. Prepares photocopies and facsimiles and operates a variety of office equipment.
  12. Establishes, maintains, processes, and updates files, records, certificates, and/or other documents.
  13. Orders, stocks, and distributes office supplies.
  14. Performs other duties as assigned or required.
  15. Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members.  Team members  are expected to report to work based upon the assigned schedule each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo of Sandia.

This position has Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) identified as a measurement of success.  KPI’s will be shared with all team members who work in this job title and feedback will be provided regarding the successful completion of the KPI’s as part of the performance review process.

  10. Prefer experience in Paycom systems.


Qualifications

Education and Experience  

Required:

  1. High School Diploma, GED certification or equivalent
  2. Three (3) years progressively responsible secretarial/clerical, administrative assistant level experience. 

Note:  Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy education and/or work experience. 

License/Certifications/Registrations

  1. Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation.
  2. Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening.
