DSB Technologies is seeking an organized, people-focused HR Coordinator to support our Human Resources department with a focus on recruitment, training, and employee engagement initiatives. This role will play a critical part in attracting and onboarding talent for production roles, coordinating training programs for new and existing employees, and driving employee appreciation efforts to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. 

Position Summary:

The HR Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Human Resources function with a primary focus on recruiting for production roles, coordinating training programs, and managing employee appreciation initiatives. This position plays a key role in ensuring effective hiring processes, smooth onboarding experiences, and consistent employee engagement. The HR Coordinator collaborates closely with HR team members, department managers, and external partners to meet staffing needs, facilitate employee development, and promote a positive workplace culture.

Functions and Responsibilities:

  1. Sources and recruits job applicants to fill entry level, professional, and technical job openings. 
  2. Coordinate and maintain employee training programs, including orientation for new hires, skill development sessions, and compliance training.
  3. Organize and implement employee appreciation events and recognition programs, helping to build morale and strengthen company culture. 
  4. Maintain accurate HR records and assist with reporting, tracking training completions, and updating employee files. 
  5. Support general HR functions as needed, including responding to employee inquires and assisting with administrative tasks.
  6. Sorts and distributes incoming mail, maintains bulletin boards and TV monitors for posting that must go up or come down.
  7. Orders, receives, stocks and maintains office supplies. 
  8. Manages disciplinary records for employees in adherence to the attendance policy.
  9. Completes various employee-related paperwork as requested.
  10. Manages Human Resource Projects including: Perfect Attendance Program, the You're Appreciated Program and Service Award Program.
  11. Assists with various data entry projects.
  12. Coordinate the set-up and clean-up for on-site meetings, luncheons, and events; including stocking and taking inventory of refreshments. 
  13. Individuals directed by management to operate a vehicle for work purposes will observe the requirements of the Fleet Safety Program.
  14. Support, promote, and perform in a manner consistent with continuous improvement goals and the values of DSB Technologies, which includes following the policies, procedures, and requirements of our Quality Management and IS0 14001 Environmental Management Systems.

All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications and Key Attributes:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.

1 year related work experience and/or training preferred.

Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally.

High degree of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Detail orientated and very organized.
