Rose Cartage Service is a 50-year-old family-owned trucking company based in Griffith, IN, and we’re looking for an HR Coordinator / Administrative Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being the backbone of a strong team.
As our HR Coordinator/Administrative Assistant, you will report directly to the President and play a key role in supporting our drivers, maintaining compliance, and ensuring the administrative systems supporting our fleet run smoothly and efficiently.

Primary duties of the HR Coordinator / Administrative Assistant:
Welcoming new drivers to the company and onboarding them into all company programs
Overseeing employee benefit programs
Enforcing compliance with all drivers' DOT annual requirements
Managing all insurance claims
Completing all licensing and titling of trucks and trailers
Maintaining our Trucking Authority
Assist in generating Fuel Tax Reporting
Requirements for the HR Coordinator / Administrative Assistant:

Strong organizational skills and able to properly prioritize tasks
Able to exercise discretion when dealing with sensitive issues
1 Year of previous knowledge of the transportation industry preferred but not required
Microsoft Excel experience preferred but not required
