Summary:
The HR/Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for the recruiting/hiring functions within the organization and works under the supervision of the HR Director. This role partners with hiring Managers/Directors to fill open positions and meet the company’s workforce needs and goals.
Responsibilities Include:
- Interacting and collaborating with department heads to identify job openings and prepare job postings and requirements.
- Posting job openings.
- Filtering and reviewing appropriate job applicants.
- Scheduling and conducting phone screens/interviews.
- Completing reference checks.
- Coordinating and participating in recruitment events; such as career fairs.
- Compiling reports on recruitment for the HR department.
- Other HR/Job related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field preferred.
- At least three years of recruiting experience required.
- Knowledge of employment legislature and practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of HR resources and tools.
- Professionalism, organization, and project management skills.
- Strong telephone and virtual meeting platform skills (i.e., Teams, Zoom, etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.
