HR Coordinator
HR On-Point / Office Administrator
(part-time hybrid, average 25–30 hours per week • Twin Cities, MN • on-site across multiple locations)
We are seeking a people-centered HR Coordinator to serve as a trusted, consistent presence for our rapidly growing ~60-person team across four Twin Cities locations — someone who listens well, builds genuine relationships, and keeps the administrative side of HR running cleanly.
This is a relationship-first, specialist role. We need someone with real HR depth, adaptable communication, and a natural ability to connect with a diverse workforce. Not a generalist.

Key Responsibilities
HR On-Point — Employee Relations & Support
● Serve as the trusted point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and interpersonal situations
● Listen actively; guide employees to appropriate internal and external resources
● Support employees through workplace challenges with empathy, consistency, and confidentiality
● Facilitate informal conflict navigation; escalate formal matters to the CEO/COO and HR Compliance vendor
● Champion belonging, psychological safety, and inclusion across a diverse workforce
● Support new hire onboarding from a culture and people-connection standpoint
● Adapt communication style to meet employees where they are — written, verbal, and interpersonal
Office Administration
● Manage day-to-day administrative operations across Turbo Tim’s back office
● Coordinate scheduling, correspondence, and logistics for leadership and cross-location needs
● Maintain employee files, HR documentation, and records in BambooHR
● Support onboarding paperwork, I-9 verification, and employment documentation
● Receive, prioritize, and delegate facility work order requests across locations
● Assist with company-wide communications, meeting preparation, and special projects
● Process and route HR Compliance vendor deliverables (policies, updates, training materials)
Policy & Compliance Partnership
● Serve as the internal point of contact for HR policy questions; direct to HR Compliance vendor when appropriate
● Support rollout of updated policies in plain, accessible language
● Maintain handbook acknowledgment records; flag compliance gaps to the COO and HR Compliance vendor
Qualifications
Required:
● 3–6+ years of dedicated HR experience — employee relations, HR coordination, or people operations
● Demonstrated experience supporting a diverse workforce with adaptable, inclusive communication
● Proven ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality at all levels
● Strong active listening skills and emotional intelligence — this is a relationship-first role
● Experience with HR documentation, employee records management, and onboarding
● Proficiency with an HRIS platform (BambooHR a strong plus)
● Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-location small business environment
● Ability to work on-site across Twin Cities locations as needed
● Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Turbo Tim’s does not sponsor employment visas.

● Automotive, trades, or service industry environment
● Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS)
● HR Compliance vendor coordination or policy implementation
● Facilities service management
● Supporting a CEO/COO leadership team
