Summary of Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing overall support to the Human Resources department to effectively and efficiently carry out a variety of Human Resources programs and functions.
Primary Duties:
S&S Guest Relations:
Responsible for Job Posting Program and overall management and maintenance of all company bulletin boards.
May set up and act as company representative at job fairs. Assists in the development of creative and cost-effective programs to recruit and retain employees.
Onboarding:
Conducts new hire orientation. Keeps onboarding experience and all associated updates in the HRIS.
Compliance & Training:
Safety Committee Secretary. Coordinates and maintains records of all Safety Committee activities as well as scheduling quarterly meetings. Maintains a relationship with the Risk Manager of our workers’ compensation insurer for additional training support and annual walk-through assessments.
Backup to HR Generalist for scheduling compliance training.
Participates in compliance audits.
HR Support:
Assists the Director of Human Resources as required in projects and tasks as assigned.
Supports the HR Generalist in recruiting efforts including screening and interview schedules.
Schedules and hosts onsite external career fairs.
Participate in new associate onboarding activities including setup of training and badge identification.
Creates and maintains employee personnel files, physical and electronic storage.
Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
Sorts and distributes mail within the HR department and Executive.
Maintains a professional image and helps keep HR department and lobby areas neat and clean.
Company Support:
Assists the CO-Presidents and the CFO as required.
Maintains relationships with outside vendors for all water, coffee, and snacks.
HR Ambassador: Delivers exceptional customer service to all Associates as the first face of the Human Resources department. This role will surveil the organization and will bring to the Director any questions and concerns where the Associates may need support and a voice.
Responsible for coordinating the Associate Service Award and Peer Recognition Programs.
Takes an active role in the creation and publication of Sights and Sounds newsletter.
Leads Social Wellness Committee. Works with the committee to brainstorm new employee activities and create and execute the annual schedule of events. Assign employee activity tasks and follow up with each member to ensure completion of such tasks. Create templates and/or checklists for events. Maintains details of these projects and drives continuous improvement.
Collaborates with departments in carrying out various human resources programs and projects.
May be called upon to give company tours to visitors and represent the company at local events.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
Associates degree and 1 year experience in Human Resources.
1-3 years' experience in fast paced office environment or any similar combination of education and experience
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Proficiency in Microsoft 365
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload
Good math skills, accurate and detail oriented
Good judgment and discretion
Able to take direction with excellent follow through
Offers a consistent friendly, professional but supportive demeaner to the Associates
Ability to self-start
