HR Coordinator / Shipping Clerk

Duties and responsibilities 

• Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, and digital channels.
• Professionally manage inbound calls and emails, responding promptly and efficiently.
• Print and fax or email the truck companies’ daily schedules
• Coordinate the shipment of product to both domestic and international customers
• Courteously and professionally answer and direct all incoming phone calls to appropriate parties
• Maintain organized records of shipments, orders, etc.
• Enter purchase orders manually if needed
• Resolve customer/order issues quickly and efficiently if capable
• Resolve any and all trucking company shipment issues if possible
• Communicate all problems encountered to the appropriate departments/personnel
• Scan all proofs of delivery into the database for quick and easy access by the accounting department
• Create forms and spreadsheets as needed for record keeping
• Make delivery appointments for loads that require them
• Experience with email and calendar management
• Strong data entry skills with attention to accuracy and speed
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
• Manage warehouse organization and tidiness
• Assist with any other duties the Plant Manager assigns
• All other duties as assigned
