Summit Medical Group is recruiting for a HR Coordinator.  This opportunity is a full time hybrid opportunity and 95% remote. The position performs various administrative and clerical functions related to Human Resources.

Examples of Duties (List does not include all duties assigned)

  • Performs data entry into computerized database of Summit employee and physician changes and appropriate payroll information, ensuring that information is entered accurately.
  • Formats, distributes, and maintains reports on personnel information (related to above) as appropriate.
  • Assists with tracking and reporting on critical dates pertaining to HR issues, to include: renewal dates for employment agreements, workers compensation followup for injured employees, performance evaluations that are due or past due, etc. 
  • Processes (by researching, recording, computerizing, calculating, proof reading, filing, disseminating, etc.) paperwork and documents related to HR as appropriate.
  • Processes and assists with benefit enrollments, terminations and status changes, to include plans for group health, dental, disability, etc.
  • Attends and participates in meetings, as required.
  • Types memos, e-mails, and reports as requested. Assists with clerical functions (copying, faxing, filing, etc) as appropriate.
  • Interfaces with Summit physicians, management, and employees to provide customer service on behalf of the TSOD department.
  • Substitutes for corporate receptionists when needed.
  • Maintains strictest confidentiality both internally and externally.
  • Adheres to expectations of the established corporate compliance plan.
  • Actively participates in site-level Quality Improvement Activities. Each Employee will contribute to the continual evaluation site performance as well as the
    implementation and measurement of improvement activities that increase the quality of care provided to patients.
  • Performs related work as appropriate.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

At least one year of experience in a position related to healthcare, Human Resources,
data entry, and/or office work preferred.
