We are seeking an HR Generalist to support daily Human Resources operations, including employee relations, and HR administration. The role involves maintaining employee records, assisting with benefits and HR policies, and supporting managers and staff with HR-related matters. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are required.

The candidate chosen for this position will be based out of our corporate office in Carlstadt, NJ.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Manage the contents of the company Intranet site to include regular edits, future additions and timely revisions.
  • Perform regular data entry into the HRIS platform (new hires and status changes).
  • Assist with the general administration of the employee benefits programs, to include assisting with the management of the wellness program.
  • Partner with VPHR and leadership to support the performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and coaching to align with company values.
  • Keep up to date on all general administrative duties such as scanning and filing physical documents.
  • Managing the timely filing of government reporting to include but not limit PCORI, EEO, Workers Comp, and any other related reporting for government compliance or audit purposes.
  • Ensure labor law compliance (regulations, labor posters, general practices). 
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Human Resources or related field - required
  • 4-6 years of direct human resources experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal/written/organizational skills
  • Possess a professional and friendly demeanor.
