HR Professional

Job Summary: 

The Human Resources Generalist is a full-time, on-site position based in Colorado Springs, CO. This role supports the full employee lifecycle and serves as a key partner in delivering a positive, compliant, and engaging workplace experience. The HR Generalist collaborates closely with the HR Director, leadership and employees to administer core HR functions including employee relations, performance management, benefits, compliance, and onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and conduct regular audits (I-9, EEO-1, payroll, and related compliance reporting).

  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring a welcoming and compliant start to employment.

  • Support employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management processes.

  • Administer benefits programs and respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits.

  • Partner with payroll to ensure accurate processing of employee status changes and compensation updates.

  • Coordinate background screenings and pre-employment requirements.

  • Track and monitor required training and certifications, including safety and compliance training.

  • Support compensation, leave administration, recognition programs, and employee engagement initiatives.

  • Stay informed of employment law changes and HR best practices to proactively support the organization.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support HR and business objectives.


Preferred Qualifications:

  •  Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws.
  •  Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  •  Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  •  Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 and ADP.
  •  Proficient with ADP.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion


Education/Experience:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree
  •  Two or more years of related experience
